Old Kung Fu books – Shaolin Spear/Staff.
January 30, 2008
Received another mail asking about the stick/spear book in the photo-slide clip…
Another one of those old books described as “classical treasure” and with no author mentioned – I love books like that, a real gem, not only because of the kung fu knowledge within but the hand drawn illustrations….. They don’t produce them like that anymore…
I remember Por Suk telling how most single-head staffs are, fundamentally, modified spear works and this is so well exemplified in this small book.
Soooo, whoever the original author was; a big “Thank You” from me for leaving behind this “classical treasure” indeed!
Got to make a copy and present it to Por Suk the next time I see him …….
Home …. sweet and sour….home….

Not that it’s any important but I am really from Singapore.
That makes me a Sin-ga-po-rean….
Land of overachievers – got to be first in everything…”losing” is almost a crime in land of “excellence”…
Living in Singapore is, to me, like living in a pressure cooker – you work hard and you play hard.
Land scare and with a bulging population of almost 4 millions, this is a place where everything got to be precise like clockwork – everything must be done “yesterday”.
Maybe I am just getting old and mellow but I want to be able to stop and smell the roses sometimes and not feel guilty.
Hey, don’t get me wrong; I “work” just as hard, if not harder, than the next guy but I got my own rhythm..
Might be Linkin Park sometimes and other times, “12 girls Band…
